About the Club

The American Cocker Spaniel Club of Great Britain is the Parent Club of the breed and was founded in 1969.

The club holds an annual Championship Show & Open Show. 

Our next will be on Sunday October 8th at Biddulph Valley Leisure Centre, Biddulph, Staffs.  ST8 7HL.

 

Our Championship Show judge Vibeke Paulsen (Kennel Statesman) Norway.

Our Open Show judge is Carole Wellsted (Davcar).

 

The Club coordinates a Rescue Scheme for those American Cockers needing to be rehomed

The Club monitors hereditary problems in the breed along with the other two breed clubs in the UK which are The Northern Counties American Cocker Club and The Home Counties American Cocker  Spaniel Club.
